Silver Metal Clay Classes with LauraKay

I discovered silver metal clay later in life, and it quickly became a deeply rewarding creative outlet that I now love sharing through my classes. With my background as a high school teacher, I offer an interactive, supportive approach that guides you step by step while encouraging your individual creativity.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

In my classes, I guide you through the full process of working with silver metal clay—from a simple sketch to a finished, wearable piece. You’ll learn assume no prior knowledge of working in silver clay.  The beginning class students make a pendant or set of earrings.  The products are torch fired and finished in one day.  Other classes are two-day classes using more complicated techniques.  These are kiln fired after the first day and finished the second day of the class.

WHO ARE MY SILVER METAL CLAY CLASSES ARE FOR

I welcome students of all ages and experience levels. All you need is enthusiasm and a desire to create something meaningful. There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing the joy on my students’ faces as their ideas come to life in silver.  There are no online classes offered at present, and my studio is located in Stuart, Florida.
